Mountain bike run

Granitosaur is a steep, highly technical mountain bike descent at the Sentiers du Moulin (SDM) in Lac-Beauport, Quebec. It’s run downhill only and focuses on slow-speed control as much as pure speed, with multiple difficult features concentrated over a short ride.

The trail is known for an intimidating wooden-structure start, followed by technical terrain that includes deep rock gardens and steep slab drops, plus tight, precision-required lines. Expect rock and wood obstacles like bridges/ladder-bridge elements and rock-face/rock-garden sections that reward accurate bike placement.

Granitosaur is also described as an old-school build meant for riders who can clear the initial structure; if you can’t handle that first obstacle, the rest is unlikely to be manageable. When conditions get wet, be extra cautious: inspect committed features before you ride and avoid riding when traction on slabs and rock gardens is compromised.
