James Bond Track
The James Bond Track is the winding lower exit from the Mer de Glace via the Mottets buvette towards Chamonix’s Planards slopes.
A guide’s 27 February 2026 report recorded short ski carries on this exit and warned that warm temperatures were quickly changing the valley snow coverage.
