Lofty Ambition Part 2

Lofty Ambition Part 2 is a downhill-only singletrack in the Alice Lake & Highlands area of Squamish. It was opened in 2024 and built around technical features—rock faces, rock gardens, and granite rock-roll style sections—so expect hard lines rather than a smooth cruise.

Roughly 1,532 ft (467 m) long with about 213 ft (65 m) of descent, it’s rated Black Diamond for physicality and technical demand. The intended flow is to set you up to connect naturally into The Most Excellent Connector for a more manageable drop from the top of Debecks hill.

Ride it as a focused tech descent: scout the committed rock features before you drop in, and use fresh brakes and tire traction suited to granite and rock gardens. In wet or recently wet conditions, inspect the rock sections closely—hero dirt is possible, but the surface can change traction quickly in coastal forest shade.
