Magneto

Magneto is in the Maelstrom sector of Sentiers du Moulin, Lac‑Beauport. Downhill‑only, double‑black, slow‑tech. Handbuilt by LB‑Cycle on rough granite slabs and sidehill. Expect rock faces, rock gardens, mandatory moves, and exposure with no ride‑arounds.

Access: park at the Maelstrom sector and follow the signed climbing trails to the Magneto start. Study the sector map at the trailhead; the line is well marked once in the zone.

Conditions: SDM flags Magneto (and other nature trails) as not recommended within 48 hours after ≥5 mm rain. Best when dry; granite turns slick fast. Season typically May–October.
