Pouziaris trail

Pouziaris trail is a long-distance hiking route in the Troodos Mountains area, mapped as an easy walking path loop-style route with a total length of about 7.36 km.

The route is built on a hiking network of named path segments and stays within the Troodos hiking system (sac_scale: hiking), so it’s managed as a walk rather than a technical track.

On the common walking versions of the Pouziaris hiking circuit, the route works as a forested ascent from the Psilo Dendro / Pano Platres area up toward higher Troodos terrain, then returns via track junctions and signed trail directions near the same forestry area.

Expect a mostly earth-track experience with intermittent stream/valley sections if you connect variants that incorporate Kalidonia—some junctions on those circuits are explicitly signposted to switch between earth-road walking and trail walking.

A practical way to run the route is to start from the Psilo Dendron / forest-road signposted area and follow the marked Pouziaris trail logic through the loop back to the start, using the Pouziaris junction signboards as your confirmation points along the descent.

If you’re combining trails on a longer day, Pouziaris is often paired with the Kalidonia route to make a bigger circuit that keeps the same overall Troodos-forest character while changing the turn points on the way up and down.
