Professeur X

Professeur X is a double-black diamond mountain bike trail in the Maelstrom sector of the Sentiers du Moulin network (Lac Beauport, Quebec). It’s an enduro/downhill-style singletrack built for riders with very advanced skills, with demanding technical riding centered on rock features and exposure-driven lines.

Expect a hand-crafted, feature-dense descent with slabs, rock gardens, and engineered elements such as rock faces/“rock face” sections, wood bridges, and skinny-type features. The builder group reports the work took almost 2 years and required more than 3000 hours of volunteer effort, including moving hundreds of large rocks.

Riders should scout committed lines and inspect features before committing each attempt, especially because the trail is technical and line choice matters. Plan to ride only in the season used by the network (Mai à septembre).
