Route Details

Rupert is a moderate black diamond mountain bike trail in the Alice Lake network of Squamish. The riding character mixes tech and flow in a short descending singletrack package (about 1.5–2 km), built around a short climb that tees up a proper drop-in.

Once you commit, you get roots and small rock sections progressing onto a rocky ridge with rolling features and flowy berms. There are also optional side “chicken lines” to bypass anything that feels too intense, plus a distinctive wooden bridge crossing a low spot.

After the bridge you pedal a short climb to reset, then continue across another rocky ridge and a long rollable straightaway. Expect slabs, more berm-style cornering, and at least one more punchy spot where the chicken line can help you keep momentum.

Later, Rupert strings together a signature rocky-and-wooden roller-coaster segment that hooks back to form a bowl-like turn area. The finish stays flowy and works back toward Mashiter as the trail comes to an end.
