Slab City

Slab City is a downhill-only mountain bike trail at Sentiers du Moulin in Lac Beauport, Quebec, running along porous granite slab. Expect a long commitment to rock riding, with only a few ladder bridges and rock arrangements punctuating the descent.

The trail was built through a partnership at Sentiers du Moulin, with work from Velo Solution Canada and the local volunteer group LBCycle. Ride it in May to October, and if conditions are wet, be ready for extra slickness control-work—porous granite typically keeps grip usable even when it rains, but it’s still worth scoping the rock sections up close before you drop in.
