Abbott Observatory

Abbott Observatory is a basic backcountry shelter in Glacier National Park operated by Parks Canada. It functions as an emergency-style shelter and is used to collect data in the Abbott Ridge corridor during winter, including snowpack, weather, avalanche conditions, and other field observations by researchers and avalanche personnel.
