Absaroka Mountain Lodge

Absaroka Mountain Lodge is a backcountry hut-style lodging property in the Cody, Wyoming area, used as an alpine-hut base for overnighters near Yellowstone’s east entrance. It’s operated as a log-cabin lodge with private bathrooms and other in-cabin basics.

Cabins run on a set seasonal window from May 23 to September 22. Reservations are handled through the lodge’s cabin rentals and rates process: a 50% deposit secures a stay, with balance due on arrival; many cabins also require a two-night minimum. Check-in starts after 2:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, and cancellations made 30+ days before arrival return the deposit minus a $50 cancellation fee per cabin.
