Antigua Sala de Máquinas

Antigua Sala de Máquinas is a backcountry wilderness hut in Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park (Los Lagos Region, Chile), at about 1,080 m elevation. It sits on the Sendero Paso Desolación area near Volcán Osorno, serving as an emergency stop for mountaineers and trekkers.

Access is on foot only via the Ensenada route (passing Petrohué). Getting there typically requires pre-registration with CONAF.
