Aspen Lakehouses

Aspen Lakehouses is a pair of vacation rentals used as backcountry-style lakehouse lodging near Skagway Reservoir in the Cripple Creek/Victor area, with both the Main Aspen Lakehouse and the Upper Aspen Lakehouse available for stays.

The Main Aspen Lakehouse (built in 2002) has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, plus a gourmet kitchen, living space with a fireplace, washer and dryer, and a large wrap-around porch.

The Upper Aspen Lakehouse is a country cabin on about 80 acres overlooking Skagway Reservoir and has 4 bedrooms, including 2 master bedrooms; it was totally renovated with tile, wood floors, and granite countertops throughout.

For vehicle access, the drive is described as a high-elevation approach down a 6-mile county-maintained gravel road with a steep driveway; 4-wheel drive is required during snowy seasons. Fire restrictions note that open fires/campfires aren’t allowed on the property, though fire pits are available down at the reservoir (a short drive away).

There’s no A/C provided, and there are no BBQ grills on-site.
