Blowdown Cabin

Blowdown Cabin is a backcountry wilderness cabin that provides an on-route shelter in the Blowdown area of Seton Portage, BC. It’s a single-level cabin with a wood stove, a fireplace, and an outhouse; use is free and it is not locked.

There is no official reservation system for Blowdown Cabin; shelter use is first-come, first-served. When you’re heading in, plan for the possibility that the cabin may be occupied and bring a backup option (for example, your own tent).
