Broome Hut

Broome Hut is a Grand Huts Association backcountry hut near timberline on the west side of Berthoud Pass, Colorado. It’s a wilderness-hut option for overnight trips using non-motorized pursuits (including skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and biking). The hut is close to public from sunset until 9:00 AM.

Broome Hut sleeps up to 16 people and is used as a reservation-required hut. Use is set up for guests who plan ahead for stays, and the hut includes a fireplace and mattresses; there’s no shower and no internet access.
