Brunswick Lake Emergency Shelter

Brunswick Lake Emergency Shelter is a basic wilderness shelter operated by BC Parks, set along the Howe Sound Crest Trail in Cypress Provincial Park. It’s intended for emergency use as interim refuge rather than a booked overnight stay.

Use is first-come, first-served and no reservation process exists for the shelter. Basic facilities are available at/near the shelter area, including an outhouse and bear bins nearby, with backcountry camping allowed in the designated cleared areas at the lake (no formal tent pads provided).
