Burnie Glacier Chalet

Burnie Glacier Chalet is a backcountry cabin operated by Bear Mountaineering, built for alpine hut use. The cabin has sleeping capacity for 10 people and is set up as a base for guided trips and courses run by the operator.

Use and booking are handled through the Bear Mountaineering program calendar for the chalet, with winter and summer trips listed for the lodge. The chalet has been renovated and upgraded (notably new and larger dining and kitchen spaces, plus boot-dryer functionality), and the operator notes updated management for the lodge starting with the coming winter season.
