Cabaña Corantioquia

Cabaña Corantioquia is a backcountry alpine hut in the CORANTIOQUIA area near Alto El Morrón in Belmira, Antioquia. It’s used as a mountain stop within the Páramo de Belmira ecosystem, with access typically routed through trails to Alto El Morrón / Refugio Alto El Morrón (about 7–12 km out-and-back). For hut days, expect cold and wet conditions and plan for deep mud/soaked terrain; bring at least 3 liters of water per person, plus waterproof clothing and suitable footwear for boggy ground.
