Capitelle de Côte Bertrand

Capitelle de Côte Bertrand is a traditional dry-stone agricultural shelter (a capitelle). In this specific structure, the surviving perimeter walls enclose an approximately 30 m by 15 m rectangle, and a small hut is built within/along the walls near the northeast corner, making it suitable as a basic, unstaffed place to stop or take shelter in an emergency or on short rest breaks.

Use appears to be open and unscheduled rather than an organized refuge system, with no reservation or visit fees required to access the shelter; plan accordingly and treat it as an old stone structure rather than a serviced mountain hut.
