Capitelle de Taoule Messe

Capitelle de Taoule Messe is a dry-stone capitelle (a small shepherd’s shelter) in the garrigue north of Aramon, France. It’s a free-access, isolated shelter on a hiking route, built in limestone using dry-stone construction and identifiable as a rectangular façade with vertical walls.

Look for it as a named stop on the “Les capitelles” trail system around Aramon: when you reach the “Taoule Messe” sign on the route, leave the main track briefly and head straight toward the shelter.
