Capitelle la Picholine

Capitelle la Picholine is a restored dry-stone shelter (capitelle) associated with the Bernis area in the Gard. It’s has been restored by the Amis de Bernis.

It’s the type of small stone shelter used as a refuge or for storing tools and harvests, built without mortar—typical of the garrigue’s historic low-impact stone architecture.
