Capitelle la Rhodanienne

Capitelle la Rhodanienne is a small dry-stone shelter (capitelle) used for backcountry overnight shelter. The structure is having a square façade, vertical walls, a wall height of about 1. 70 m, and a total height of about 3. 30 m; materials are calcareous stone with a dry-stone build.

Use is free and open to people on foot (general access is is accessible). It’s a basic, historical shelter intended for rough, all-weather backup rather than a staffed refuge.
