Carbet Rosette

Carbet Rosette is an isolated open-sided wilderness shelter in French Guiana, run by the Office National des Forêts (ONF). It’s a carbet-style stop in equatorial rainforest terrain, used as a waypoint by hikers moving through deep interior trails.

The shelter sits near a small fresh-water stream (Crique Rosette), which helps with local water access. Expect very wet jungle conditions around the hut, and plan around hammock-style camping culture and dense tropical vegetation when you pass through the area.
