Centro de Educación Ambiental de Mindo

Centro de Educación Ambiental de Mindo is a rural backcountry-style hut complex used for ecological education and ecotourism in the Mindo area. It sits about 4 km from the town of Mindo, within the protected Bosque Protector Mindo-Nambillo, and is run by the Corporación Amigos de la Naturaleza (CEANM).

The center offers rustic wooden cabins for visitors and has interpretive trails for on-site walks. Access involves crossing the Río Mindo via tarabita to reach the CEA facilities. For stays and guided visits, contact is handled through the organization’s prior coordination rather than walk-in hotel-style service.
