Alpine hutChalet 24 is a rustic backcountry hut in Parc national de la Gaspésie, operated by Sépaq. It’s a basic basecamp hut used for multi-day hiking in summer and for winter backcountry/ski circuits around the Lac des Américains area.
Inside you’ll find basic sleeping platforms, a table, and a wood stove for heat. You need to bring your own sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and all cooking and water-boiling equipment.
Bookings aren’t done online; reserve by phone through the Sépaq reservation center, and depending on the season you may need to arrange luggage transport or a shuttle in advance through the same phone number. Standard Sépaq hut rates generally fall in the $37.25–$40.75 per person, per night range (varies slightly by day/weekday vs weekend).
