Chalet de Préperny

Chalet de Préperny is a backcountry hut managed for ski touring use in the Haut-Folin area, run by the Ski en Morvan (SKIMO) association. The hut sits at an elevation of about 807 m and is set up for winter visitors using the local Nordic ski domain based around the Prèperny starting point.

Use is tied to the skiable season of the Haut-Folin domain. When conditions allow, SKIMO staff manage piste care and can also handle equipment rentals (cross-country skis, snowshoes, sleds) and sell hot drinks; the hut is the on-site gathering point for those activities.
