Colwells Hut
Colwells Hut is one of the overnight huts used on the Green Gully Track loop in Oxley Wild Rivers National Park (near Walcha, NSW). It’s a wood hut accessed as part of a hut-to-hut, multi-day route where you stay at each hut along the way rather than carrying a tent.
The Green Gully Track is run as an exclusively booked experience: bookings secure a group to walk the track together (no solo walking) with capacity capped at 6 walkers and a maximum booking of 2–4 walkers for the listed group cost. The Green Gully Track is a Grade 5, very-experienced-only hike, so plan for remote, self-sufficient travel and creek-crossing days while relying on the huts for your overnight accommodation.
Use on the track is a booking-based experience, and the hut night is part of a multi-day itinerary (the track includes 5 nights/4 days of walking). Book the experience in advance and also check for any closure information before you depart.
