Coopers Minipi Fishing Camp

Coopers Minipi Fishing Camp is a private wilderness hut operation in the Minipi/Minonipi system near Goose Bay, Labrador, used for multi-day guided fishing trips. Access to this fishery is by floatplane into the camps, and anglers fish from boats and canoes guided by licensed staff.

The camp runs as a mid-June through mid-September season operation and is built around fly fishing for brook trout and char (spin or plug casting with single, barbless hook lures is allowed on Minipi Lake). Trophy brook trout harvest is limited to one trophy brook trout per week for mounting, while catch-and-release is encouraged for brook trout.

Trip pricing and what’s included are handled through the outfitter’s booking process; week-long packages are the norm. For rates and current availability, use the camp’s booking inquiry at the operator’s site; package terms include a 15% Harmonized Services Tax and require a deposit to confirm a reservation (space is not held without the deposit; remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival).
