DCK Shelter

DCK Shelter is a roofed backcountry hut used as an overnight shelter on private property in the Paluma Range area (North Queensland). It accommodates about 6 people and is set up for self-sufficient use, with a kitchen, running water, solar lighting, and a shower.

For overnight stays, you need to contact the owner to arrange permission before sleeping there. The hut can also be used as an emergency shelter; treat it as a backup option and follow leave-no-trace principles so the shelter remains available for the next visitor.
