Eagle's Nest is a wilderness hut operated by Friends of Rossland Range Society in the Rossland Range area. The hut has a fireplace, and it’s set up for day-use/short stays as part of a larger network of Rossland Range shelters near Strawberry Pass and the Seven Summits Trail loop.
Operational note for planning: overnight use of the cabins/shelters in the Rec Site is not permitted, so it’s intended for day visits and lunches rather than sleeping arrangements. Wood is cut by volunteers for upkeep, and users are expected to chop additional kindling/small firewood for the next visitors and leave the shelter clean. Outhouses are provided by the government; carry your own toilet paper in case none is available.
