Route Details

Farnham Creek Emergency Shelter is a small, single-storey cabin wilderness hut used as a licensed emergency shelter for a heli-ski operator. It sleeps up to 6 people, with 6 bunks plus a stove and a work bench inside; there is no drinking water, electricity, toilets, or shower service, and no reservation is required for use.

The shelter has a fireplace and is marked as unlocked; it’s set up for emergency use rather than a staffed bunkhouse. The operator is R. K. Heli-Ski Panorama Inc., and the hut is described as a Crown Lands licensed facility (File Number 4492087). It’s also noted as a cabin left from the “Camp Green” Vancouver 2010 Olympics summer training camp.
