Four à pain de Sarlanges

Four à pain de Sarlanges is an unmanaged backcountry shelter in the center of Sarlanges. It’s housed in an old bread oven (a former four à pain) on the GR3 corridor and also serves pilgrims on the St Jacques route.

The shelter is set up for daytime stops and sheltered waiting rather than overnight stays: there are zero designated sleeping places. A fireplace is present, and there’s potable water within about 100 m, with a nearby water source in the village area. Use is open-access (no guardian).
