Hancock Hut

Hancock Hut is a backcountry warming hut at Red Lodge Mountain, located at the top of Grizzly Peak. The hut houses the summit Ski Patrol station and is used for public warming when the Grizzly Peak chairlift is operating and Ski Patrol is on site.

Use is limited to daytime warming: brown bag lunches are welcome, but overnight access is not permitted. The hut is owned and operated by Red Lodge Mountain, and access can be closed to the public at any time.
