Independent Hunting Club

Independent Hunting Club is a private one-story cabin used as a backcountry wilderness hut by a hunting club. Use is coordinated through the club’s administration/committee, since lodging and hunting access are reserved for club members and guests through their internal process rather than as a public booking service.

The club’s grounds focus on hunting (including deer, turkey, fox, rabbits, squirrels, and ducks) and include dog pens for beagles. Lodging is in a 3-story log cabin on about 5 acres, and the club’s land base is described as roughly 6,000 acres across King William County, King & Queen County, and Essex County.
