Indian Creek Overlook Shelter

Indian Creek Overlook Shelter is a three-sided lean-to backcountry shelter along Indiana’s Adventure Hiking Trail in the Harrison-Crawford State Forest near O’Bannon Woods State Park (Corydon, Indiana). It’s located at roughly mile 11 of the 24-mile trail and is used for primitive overnight stays on the first-come, first-served basis (no online reserving of the individual shelter).

Overnight camping in the primitive trail shelters requires registering for backcountry/primitive camping; you can register at the state forest office or via self-check-in stations near trailheads. Use of the shelter is free, but you must pay the standard entrance fee if you’re entering for overnight use.
