La Chouette

La Chouette is a backcountry hut in Parc national de la Gaspésie, operated by Sépaq. It sleeps 8 people and requires reservations, with bookings handled by phone through Sépaq’s Customer Relations Centre at 1-800-665-6527. Use is seasonal: it serves summer hikers on foot and is also used in winter for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, including backcountry skiing and alpine touring (and fat biking).

The hut has no shower facilities and does not include a fireplace. Capacity is set for small groups (8 people), so plan your trip logistics around a booked night in the hut rather than expecting walk-in availability.
