La Osela

La Osela is a stone backcountry hut in Val d’Osola (Brione Verzasca). It’s set at the head of the flat valley and accessed on foot from Brione Verzasca; the route time is about 3 hours. The hut sleeps up to 18 people and operates with a guardian who visits regularly to check the hut but is not in permanent attendance.

Overnight stays require an advance reservation. The night price starts at CHF 10 per adult (children 6–15: FREE; children 0–5: Payement). Facilities are self-catering, with a wood-fired or gas oven; bring your own food (and sheet bag for bedding is recommended). Animals are not allowed.
