Alpine hutLockhouse 28 is one of the C&O Canal Trust’s “Canal Quarters” wilderness huts at Point of Rocks, Maryland. The lockhouse is a rustic canal-side stay centered on the life of a lockkeeper, giving you a night in a historic lockhouse along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal corridor.
The facility includes a fire pit and a picnic table, plus a toilet (vault/composting). Use is by reservation through the C&O Canal Trust.
