Lost haven cabin
Lost haven cabin is a WNMS backcountry hut in Tumbler Ridge, used as a warming hut for cross-country skiing in winter and as a destination cabin at the far end of the Wolverine trails for walkers who access it very close to town. The cabin has a cast iron stove, picnic tables, and an outdoor fire pit, but there is no water on site (water is collected from rainfall), so bring what you need and be careful with any fire.
Use is for WNMS members only for overnight stays, and bookings are handled by directly emailing WNMS rather than through an automated online system. Overnight use is free for members; non-members can’t book overnight use, and visitors are expected to replenish any split firewood they burn. The hut is in bear country; travel in groups and make noise.
