Luc's Cabin

Luc's Cabin is a day-use warming shelter operated by the Kamloops Snowmobile Association in the Tranquille area (about an hour northwest of Kamloops). Use it when you need to get out of the cold while snowmobiling, hunting, hiking, or snowshoeing in the area.

The shelter is set up with a wood-burning stove and a fire pit, and it includes outdoor bathrooms nearby. It’s free for use on a first-come, first-served basis—no cabin booking is available for overnight stays.

A KSA day pass or membership is required to use the association’s groomed trails and staging areas. Bring what you need for a cold-weather stop, and plan your trip around changing conditions; trail and safety updates can shift through the season.
