Magnesia Meadows Emergency Shelter

Magnesia Meadows Emergency Shelter is a small, unstaffed wilderness hut operated by BC Parks. It’s intended for emergency overnight use rather than a bookable cabin, with no use fee and no fireplace provided.

Sleeping space is limited; it’s designed for unexpected stays due to injury, sudden weather, or other emergencies (and you should be planning on having a tent for overnighting on the area if you’re not using the shelter as intended). Use is first-come, first-served—no reservations are required.
