Maison Loubier

Maison Loubier is an open, unmanaged shelter attached to the Château d’Allègre area near Allègre-les-Fumades. It’s intended for visitors and hikers looking for a place to shelter or stop for a picnic on bad-weather days.

Use is free, and the shelter is kept open for everyone; treat it as “leave no trace.” A fireplace is present, but fires are restricted from May through October—including in the chimney—because the surrounding garrigue is highly flammable.
