Mallard Mountain Lodge

Mallard Mountain Lodge is an ultra-remote backcountry lodge near Valemount operated by the McManus family, used for ski touring, snowboard touring, and hiking. Access is helicopter-based with no road access, and stays are organized as small-group, private-lodge trips with a maximum lodge capacity of 6–8 guests and a small staff presence (4 staff listed on the lodge information). The lodge has wood-fireplace accommodation and is positioned as a private wilderness base for winter touring and summer hiking packages (winter and summer trip planning are featured on the operator’s booking site).
