Matai Bay Hut

Matai Bay Hut is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in the Pelorus Sound/Te Hoiere and Kenepuru Sound area of Marlborough, sited in native bush at Tennyson Inlet. It’s a boat-access hut with use focused on fishing, hunting, boating, and swimming (and it provides a base for sea kayaking). The hut sleeps 6 people in bunks with mattresses, and a woodstove is available for heating only.
