Middlesight Water Hut

Middlesight Water Hut is a backcountry stop on the Heysen Trail / Mawson Trail network in South Australia. It’s a walk-in hut with basic sleeping platforms inside and a multi-purpose camping platform outside, built for trekkers and cyclists passing through the dry, remote sections of the trail system.

Use the hut’s water tank as your water source: it relies on rainwater stored in a tank. The hut also has a fireplace (wood stove/fireplace setup) for cooking/heat, and there are no toilets provided.
