Mons Hut

Mons Hut is a satellite alpine hut operated by Icefall Lodge, used as part of the Icefall Traverse. It’s a dorm-style cabin-style accommodation that sleeps 12, with blankets and hut shoes, and it includes a full kitchen plus a propane heater and solar lights for the stay.

Use is reservation-based and requires booking ahead; there is a fee charged for use. Winter access is helicopter-based (Icefall Lodge itself is fly-in/fly-out), and the hut sits at the toe of the Mons Glacier with a steep, north-facing glacier run dropping right out the front door.
