Montredon
Montredon is a dry-stone shelter/capittelle-style backcountry stop named “Montredon,” with the ref C162. It’s tied to the GR65/Way of Saint James corridor and is used as an overnight option for walkers on that long-distance route.
For overnight stays at the Montredon property on the Way of Saint James, bookings are handled directly by the gîte owners (phone/email/contact form). The property is open all year round and bedding is provided with fitted cover/bolster and blankets, but guests are expected to bring a sleeping bag (or “meat bag”/liner; top-sheet rental may be available). Communal meals (dinner and breakfast) are offered on request with advance notice, and payments can be made by cash, cheque, or bank transfer.
