Moose Mountian Fire lookout is a wilderness backcountry hut/structure used by an on-duty forest ranger in Kananaskis, Alberta. The building is a working fire lookout and a private residence for the ranger, so it is not operated as a public shelter.
Overnight stays, hut bookings, and access to the summit/helipad area are not permitted; visitors are expected to view the structure from a distance. Vehicular access via Moose Mountain Road is typically closed during winter and early spring (December 1 to May 15).
