Norris Island Cabin

Norris Island Cabin is a rustic cabin on Norris Island in Androscoggin Lake, Maine, used for overnight stays and reserveable island lodging. It’s part of a small island property that includes a beach and a limited number of camping options alongside the cabin.

Reservations are handled through the Kennebec Land Trust; reservations open annually on January 1. The property is accessible only by boat or across the ice in winter, and there are no marked trails beyond the immediate campsite area—movement on the island is essentially around the built camping areas. The island does not allow motorized vehicles. Dogs are allowed on a leash (or under voice command), and visitors are expected to clean up after pets.
