North Creek Cabin
Route Details
North Creek Cabin is a BCMC backcountry hut operated by the British Columbia Mountaineering Club. It’s an unlocked, open-style cabin in the mountains on the north side of the Lillooet River valley, west of Pemberton, at about 1230 m elevation, with sleeping for 10 (loft: 10; main: 0). The cabin is set up as one group at a time (capacity shown as one party only).
Use requires booking in advance through BCMC’s online booking system. Current cabin access pricing is $20/person/night for non-members and $10/person/night for BCMC members (quoted rate varies by group type on other BCMC hut pages, but the North Creek Cabin rates above are explicitly stated for this hut). Practical notes: there are no garbage facilities on-site, and BCMC runs quiet hours from 10 PM–5 AM. Access is summer: via the North Creek logging road from Upper Lillooet Forest Service Road; winter: helicopter from Pemberton.
