Olive Hut

Olive Hut is a backcountry hut operated by the Columbia Valley Hut Society, set high on the Catamount Glacier. Access requires glacier travel skills and experience, and the hut is used as a base for short, undeveloped climbing routes in the nearby Bugaboo granite area.

The operator’s hut access and conditions can change; review the latest “Important Access Updates” and follow their booking workflow. If you’ve booked since 2022, you can log in with your registered email to manage reservations; otherwise create a new profile during the booking process to complete reservations. When you book, the system emails you an access code if your email matches a registered profile.
